I am a corporate performer. I travel to where my clients hold corporate events (all over the United States) and entertain for them. My office is in my home, and I have a separate P.O. Box for my business than for my personal mail at my physical address. I keep my physical address private for obvious reasons.
According to the graphic above, it suggests that I create a “unique, high-quality page for each city” in which I offer my services. Does that mean I need to create a ton of pages on my website–one for each city–in order to increase my organic ranking and visibility in the various major cities in which I perform?
No, if you don’t have a physical presence in the other states you don’t have to create local content. This is valid only for businesses having multiple offices in multiple locations around the country. You only have to create a content targeting the city where you have a physical office. You just have to register your business in “Google My Business” & get verified.
If I want to increase my visibility in those cities (organically), would it be very effective to do so though? Running Adwords in various cities gets terribly expensive for a guy like me.
ALT means “Alternative Text” for an image or a video. Search engine crawlers cannot crawl visual elements they can only decipher the ALT text. Hence, it’s imperative that every visual elements in your page have an ALT Text so that search bots can crawl them & index them!
